This week is a busy week for the Marching Terriers, Band Boosters, and our Band Parents and Supporters. It's a short week, and it will go by in a flash! Here's what's up:
- Monday is Labor Day.
- Tuesday is our usual evening rehearsal 6-9 pm.
- Wednesday has no band commitments.
- Thursday is a special rehearsal! Students need their show shirts, shorts, and black socks as they will be performing a full dress rehearsal for the parents. In fact, Parents get out your cameras! This is your opportunity to take those close-ups of your student on the field performing. You will be allowed on the field to get shots from angles that you won't be able to get any other time. Rehearsal is from 6-9 pm, pictures will be around 6:30 pm.
- Friday has 2 events for the whole Marching Terrier family!
- At 5:30 pm we have our annual Cookout/Tailgate. Please RSVP with leighkristiansen@mac.com RIGHT NOW if you haven't done so already. It's pot luck, with the Band Boosters cooking up hot dogs. Vegetarian dishes will be offered with traditional offerings and we would love to have something on our table from your family. Come and meet with the other parents and supporters for a great meal before our first home game.
- At 7:00 pm the first home game of the season vs. Waterloo begins. Cheer the Marching Terriers on the field and enjoy our 1st halftime show of the season!
- Saturday is the O'Fallon Marching Classic. At 11:30 am students will be practicing at CCHS before getting on busses for O'Fallon. Full detailed itinerary is attached, on our website, and the Google calendar. Students will return about 10:45 pm. Students need show gear, polo shirts, sack lunch for the bus, and dinner $ or pack dinner.
